Amwins Underwriting division recently launched a new program, Home Health Care HNOA, which offers specialized hired and non-owned auto liability coverage for home health care operations. The demand for home health care services has increased, as more seniors choose to age in place and receive medical care at home.

The specialized HNOA program by Amwins Underwriting Programs (APU) addresses the unique challenges faced by home health care providers when delivering essential services to patients in their homes. The team at Amwins is dedicated to being solutions-driven partners for their clients, ensuring long-term protection by crafting personalized coverage. They have extensive experience and strong relationships with top-rated carriers, enabling them to offer precise coverage for their clients’ specific needs.

Julie Reisinger, the program manager at APU, emphasized the importance of working with experts who understand the evolving healthcare industry and can provide tailored coverage. She said that accounts involving client/patient/passenger transport are not eligible for this program. The coverage offered by the Home Health Care HNOA program is available in all states except Louisiana. It includes standalone hired and non-owned auto liability with limits up to $5 million. The program caters to a variety of businesses within the home health care sector, such as doctors, nurses, therapists, and caregivers.
