In London, the SJA British Sports Journalism Awards 2023 honored Getty Images photographers for their outstanding work in sports journalism. The prestigious Ed Lacey Trophy for SJA Sports Photographer of the Year went to Justin Setterfield for the fifth time in six years. Clive Brunskill won the Phil Sheldon Trophy for Specialist Portfolio, while Ryan Pierse was awarded the Sports Picture of the Year for his stunning underwater surfing image at the Paris 2024 Olympics test event.
