Jets Eye Possibility of Reacquiring Corey Davis: Could He Join Formidable Receiving Corps?

Corey Davis in talks with Jets for potential reunion

After cutting ties with Corey Davis in March, the Jets are now considering the possibility of bringing him back. According to Robert Saleh, the team has been in regular communication with Davis and their door is always open to him.

SNY’s Connor Hughes recently reported that the Jets are interested in reacquiring Davis, which could greatly benefit their wide receiving corps. Alongside Garrett Wilson and Mike Williams, Davis could provide the Jets with a formidable group of receivers.

Davis took a break from the NFL last August but recently applied for reinstatement, giving him the chance to return to the field. Prior to joining the Jets in 2021, he spent four years with the Tennessee Titans. During his time in New York, Davis proved himself as a valuable asset to the offense, recording 66 receptions for 1,028 yards and six touchdowns. If he rejoins the Jets, Davis could continue to make positive contributions to their offense.
