Snohomish Tennis Team Wins Against Edmonds-Woodway; Kamiak Defeats Lynnwood in Softball

In recent matches, Snohomish emerged victorious over Edmonds-Woodway in girls tennis with a final score of 6-1. In singles matches, Emerson Norris, Hannah Wells, Mak Dauer, and Anna Steiner from Snohomish secured wins against their opponents from Edmonds-Woodway. The doubles teams of Bri Ulrich/Lauren Ellis and Lucy Danitschek/Val Landa-Contreras also contributed to the team’s success. After the match, Snohomish’s record stood at 4-0 while Edmonds-Woodway’s was 1-1.

Unfortunately, the matches between Mountlake Terrace and Marysville Getchell as well as Monroe and Lynnwood were postponed due to unfavorable weather conditions. However, Kamiak made up for it by defeating Lynnwood in softball with a final score of 10-2. Outstanding performances were reported from Scarlette Chapman, Tyler Karabach, and Aliya Boonsripisal on the Kamiak team. Lynnwood’s Nyree Johnson, Briar Knoth, and Ashara Taylor also contributed to the game.

Monroe secured a win against Edmonds-Woodway with a final score of 20-5 in their match. Unfortunately, no specific details were reported about this particular game. In boys’ soccer, Mount Si defeated Lynnwood with a final score of 8-0. The team records after this soccer match showed Mount Si at 5-0 and Lynnwood at 2-2-1.

Lynnwood’s next softball game will be against Stanwood while Edmonds Woodway will face Cascade. On the other hand, Lynnwood’s boys soccer team will play against Arlington in their respective high school stadiums for their next games
